Ask Me About....French - we finished our zoo interviews and recorded them into IRIS. We played French Pictionary today. We need to finish the whole book by Wednesday so we can return them to other schools. Science - we went to the Weaselhead and learned to distinguish between coniferous and deciduous tress, between shrubs and trees, and to identify different trees based upon their leaf shapes, arrangements and margins, their bark, and colour. We continued to work on our food chain collage plan. Social - we finished our wampum belt presentations. Art/Math - we are almost finished making our James Rizzi buildings and are making a city for them. We will be calculating the area and volume next week. We learned that there is a website Quest A+ that we could use to practice old exams, if we want. We also have been reviewing everything about government. Math - grade 6s are learning about balance, We used different types of balances to balance numbers and objects, now we are balancing equations.
